Demande d’un document de circulation pour étranger mineur – (DCEM)

The Document de circulation pour étranger mineur (DCEM) allows foreign minors, after a trip abroad, to return to France or the external borders of the Schengen area without the need for a visa. It certifies the legality of the minor’s stay in France. 

The DCEM must be accompanied by a valid travel document (passport in most cases) if the young person is traveling outside of France.
