As an Automotive Preparation Technician, my responsibilities include:

· Preparing vehicles for sale or delivery, including full interior and exterior detailing
· Washing, polishing, waxing, and buffing vehicle surfaces to ensure showroom-quality presentation
· Cleaning and restoring vehicle interiors (vacuuming, shampooing carpets, conditioning leather, cleaning dashboards and trim)
· Inspecting vehicles for cosmetic defects (scratches, dents, paint imperfections) and performing minor touch-ups
· Installing accessories and preparing optional equipment as requested (floor mats, license plates, protective films, etc.)
· Checking fluid levels (oil, coolant, windshield washer fluid) and topping up as needed
· Performing basic mechanical checks to ensure vehicles are road-ready
· Moving and organizing vehicles within the lot or showroom safely
· Preparing vehicles for customer handover and ensuring they meet company quality standards
· Coordinating with the sales and service departments to meet delivery deadlines
· Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the preparation area and equipment
· Using cleaning tools, machines, and detailing products safely and efficiently
· Reporting any mechanical or cosmetic issues to the appropriate department
